Fishing Reports

4-21-15

Pretty quiet yesterday with not much to report. We will be getting in more blood and sand worms today.

A short bass here and there on clams off the local beaches is what we heard of yesterday. If your looking for winter flounder you might want to try the Manaloking Bridge area as it was pretty good this weekend from shore but especially if you were in a boat. Chum and blood worms was the ticket for some nice sized flatties. We got more Fresh Clams in yesterday as well as Fresh Bunker. We also have bloods in stock so if your heading out today bring the rain gear and stop in and pick up what you need.

As nice as it was yesterday we only heard of a couple of shorts caught off the surf on IBSP on clams. The nite bite in the back bay and Toms River was good again last night with short bass hitting bloods, sands, clams and small swimmers. Lou Spataro weighed in a 2.46 lb winter flounder he caught on blood worms in Manoliking. We just got in Fresh Bunker but only 50 so stop in before they are gone. We have plenty of Fresh Clams and blood worms as well.

Gonna be a nice day to hit the beach and dunk some clams so get out there if you can. Mostly shorts are being reported off the local beaches. The night bite in the back bay and river was also pretty good last night with short bass. Fresh Clams came in yesterday along with more bloods and sands so stop in and pick up what you need in either shop.

Reports of shorts from the local beaches continue to come in. Bait and wait during the day is the way to go. Also don't forget to bring some Bombers, SP Minnows and some Jetty Ghosts because you just might be surprised. We got good reports from the back bay and Toms River again with bass hitting bloods, sands, clams and small swimmers. It is time to fish the front or the back so get out there.

We have more sand and blood worms coming in this morning as well as a load of Fresh Clams so we will have plenty of bait going into the weekend for what ever type of fishing you plan on doing.
