Short bass with a couple keepers mixed in are being caught on both sides of the Toms River along with some perch and winter flounder. Those fishing with bloodworms are picking up fish and the bass bite has been better at night. Small swimmers and soft plastics are working as well. Oyster Creek is also producing so that is another option. Just got a report from Brian Lindner who is in his boat now in the Toms River picking up bass up to 24 inches. We have bloodworms at both shops and they are going fast so stop in and pick up what you need on your way out.
